As Covid-19 took hold in South Africa, schools were forced to close to help prevent the spread of virus. As a result, many children lost access to their only nutritious meal of the day.

To support the community in the Waterberg and particularly those schools that have organised for children to come in for lunch,  Waterberg Rhino UK was pleased to be able to send funds to purchase apples and oranges and so supplement the Schools Feeding Scheme.

This was done with the help of Daniel Mashasha who is seen here distributing bags of fresh fruit to schools in the Vaalwater area: E.A. Davidson, Boschdraai and Ralehumane, and Moepel Secondary School.
